DESCRIPTION: The exhibition and catalog traces Legrady's use of found objects,
methods of classification and cultural narratives in ten projects, from early photographic works
to his recent interactive installations. The design concept is based on two metaphoric references:
Information Theory's relation of signal-to-noise and the form of the nineteen sixties' computer card.

as a structuring device for non-linear narrative construction. The work refers in style to the
nouveau roman writing approach of Robbe-Grillet's Last Year at Marienbad fused
with the techno-aesthetics of Blade Runner.

of personal and official narratives in Stalinist Hungary. Over 60 stories and objects in the artist’s
