The contents of a local home are removed, object-by-object, by a
group of people. They are transported to a nearby street corner
and arranged exactly as they were found. A dwelling becomes a vacant
space; a sidewalk is transformed into a temporary museum. A portrait
of an unidentified sitter is created by bringing signs of private
life into public space. Before the night is over, the participants
will return everything to their exact, original locations.
