Some 22,000 Japanese have now been displaced. Close to 12,000 Japanese people have been transported to the interior of B.C. The major camps are Kaslo, New Denver, Roseberry, Slocan City, Lemon Creek, Sandon, Greenwood, and Tashme (the last named for the members of the B.C. Security Commission, Taylor, Shirras and Mead).
