Victor Coleman

Né à Toronto en 1944, Victor a publié une douzaine de recueils de poésie et est l'auteur de critiques sur les arts qui ont paru dans artscanada, Vanguard, C Magazine, Open Letter et bien d'autres revues. Il fut le directeur fondateur de Coach House Press et, de 1966 à 1975, l'un de ses rédacteurs. C'est grâce à lui qu'en 1996 la maison d'édition survit sous le nouveau nom de Coach House Books, le premier éditeur au monde à publier les textes complets de livres de poésie et de fiction simultanément en ligne et sous presse.
De 1975 à1978, Victor fut le codirecteur artistique du A Space. De 1983 à 1988, il fut agent de publicité et programmateur à la Music Gallery. Il est aussi l'un des membres fondateurs du Toronto Small Press Group et travaille actuellement à la construction du projet onezerozero, une librairie virtuelle dédiée à cent ans de publication privée au Canada anglais (1945-2044).
Victor habite et travaille à Toronto.
